Ski touring at Bjerkebu

We started the new year with a skiing trip to our cabin Bjerkebu in myrdal. On Friday evening we arrived at a cold cabin, made a fire and some “fredagstaco”.
The next morning we woke up early to start ascending Tarven on skis. It was a clear sky and -15 degrees, but once the sun came out nobody was freezing. We spent the entire day going up and down the mountain enjoying the nice weather and the snow. Everyone had a great time skiing. Once we got down we made spaghetti bolognese for everyone and played card games well into the night.
On sunday most of us did a new route up Tarven on skis. This day it was much more windy so less time was spent on breaks, and everyone hurried up the mountain. We got a good run down before we took the train back in the evening.
