Cozy cabin trip to Breidablik
25 - 26. October 2025
On Saturday morning some started the trip from Bergen bus station towards Øystese. Here, 10 great participants met and drove together up to Fitjadalen. From there, we got our legs together and climbed the first meters of altitude up to Prestekvile. Here we enjoyed a good lunch before we walked the last bit to Breidablikk. There was a good atmosphere in the group and the weather was nice, but not much sun. We arrived at the cabin early in the afternoon and enjoyed chatting and knitting.
As the evening approached, it became more and more crowded and a cozy atmosphere formed in the cabin.
We also had to have food and it was a heavenly deer stew with accompanying home-made mashed potatoes. For dessert, cookies were baked from cookie dough we pre-made. We ended the evening with playing cards.
On Sunday, we headed back again after a slow morning.
This was a super nice (and cozy) trip with lots of cozy people to a cozy cabin. Simply the definition of a "cozy cabin trip".
