Privacy statement for BSI Friluft
1. Data controller
Erlend Didrik Aas is the data controller on behalf of BSI Friluft for the company's processing of personal data.
Information you give us.
When you register for our services, purchase and/or register domain names, use any of our services; and/or when you contact us directly through any communication channel (eg Wix's customer support inquiries, email messages), you may provide us with personal information, e.g. name, email address, telephone number, payment information (for users with paid services), Personal Information you include in your communications with us, and Personal Information in scanned identification documents (eg an ID card, driver's license, passport or official company registration documents).
Information we collect when you use the services.
When you visit, download and/or use any of our services, we may collect aggregated personal information about aggregate usage, e.g. visitor and user browsing and click-stream activity on the Services, popular locations during sessions and browsing, non-personally identifiable information about visitors or user devices, operating system, browser, screen resolution, language and keyboard settings, ISP, referring/origin pages , date/time stamps, etc.
Information we collect from other sources.
We may receive personal data about you from third-party sources, e.g. i) security providers, fraud detection and prevention providers, e.g. to help us check out users who may be associated with fraud, ii) social media platforms, when you log in or register using a social media account, we may receive personal data from this service (eg username, basic profile, personal information), and in some cases we may collect personal information from companies that improve searches for leads and that help us improve our service offering; iii) advertising and marketing partners to monitor, manage and measure our advertising campaigns.
How we use your information
Third Party Service Providers:
Wix works with a number of selected service providers, who deliver services and solutions that complement, simplify and improve our own. These include hosting and server location services, communications and content delivery networks (CDNs), data and cyber security services, billing and payment services, domain name registrars, fraud detection and prevention services, web analytics, email distribution and monitoring services, session recording and remote access services, measurement of performance, data optimization and marketing services, content providers and our legal and financial advisors (collectively "Third Party Service Provider(s)"). Wix may share the following categories of personal information with third-party service providers for a business purpose: Identifiers, including name, alias, mailing address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers. Commercial personal data, e.g. personal information about products or services purchased, acquired or evaluated.
Wix is responsible for personal data received in accordance with Privacy Shield and then transfer to a third party as described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Wix remains responsible and liable for damages in accordance with Privacy Shield Principles if third-party service providers process personal data on Wix's behalf in a manner that is inconsistent with the Principles, unless Wix proves that it is not responsible for the event causing the damage.
Right-of-way, legal requests and duties:
Wix may provide or otherwise allow access to your personal data in accordance with a statutory request, e.g. subpoena, legal proceedings, search warrant or court order, or in accordance with applicable law, if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so, with or without notice to you.
Protect rights and safety:
Wix may share your personal information if we have a good faith belief that doing so will help protect the rights, property or personal safety of Wix, any of our users, any users-of-users, or a member of the public, with or without notice to you.
Social Media Features and Framed Pages
Our Services include certain social media features, widgets and single sign on features, e.g. "Facebook Connect", "Google Log-in", "Facebook Like" or "Share this" button or other interactive widgets ("Social Media Features"). These social media features may collect certain personal information, e.g. IP address or which page you visit on our website and may place a cookie for them to function properly. Social media functions are stored either with a third party or directly on our services. Your interaction with these third parties' social media features is governed by their policies and not ours.
In addition, our Services may enable you to share your Personal Information directly with third parties, for example via page framing techniques to provide content to or from third party service providers or other parties, while preserving the look and feel of our Site and Services ("Frames "). Please note that if you choose to interact or share personal information through such frameworks, you are in fact providing it to those third parties and not to us, and such interactions and sharing are governed by those third parties' policies and not ours.
4.5 App Market Developers
As part of the App Market Program, we allow third-party developers ("Third-Party Developer(s)") to develop and offer their own apps through the Wix App Market ("Third-Party Apps"), in cooperation with Wix. All participating third-party developers are bound by the Wix App Market - Partner Program Agreement, which includes restrictions on how they can access, store, share and use the personal information you and/or users-of-users provides them or us (as further described in the Wix App Market Terms of Use) We encourage you to review any privacy policies that come with any third-party app and ask third-party developers for any clarifications you may need before you decide to install and use the applicable third-party apps. Wix does not control and is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party developers, and your use of any third-party apps is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for notifying users-by-users of the collection, processing and use of their personal data and informing them that their personal data will be transferred to and processed by Wix on your behalf.
4.6 Wix's subsidiaries and affiliates
i may share your personal data internally in our affiliated companies for the purposes described in these privacy guidelines. For example, we may share your personal information with Wix.com Inc., our US subsidiary, to facilitate and deliver to you (and users-of-users) our services. The sharing of personal information by Wix subsidiaries and affiliates in the EU and Switzerland to Wix's US subsidiary complies with the EU-US and Switzerland-US Privacy Shield.
4.7 In connection with company control
If Wix or any of its affiliates undergoes a change in control, including through a merger, acquisition or purchase of substantially all of its assets, Personal Information may be shared with the parties involved in such event.
4.8 Upon your further instructions
Wix may also share your personal information with third parties for other purposes upon your further instructions or with your express approval.
4. The basis for the processing
Information about name, address, telephone, e-mail address is used to fulfill the purchase agreement. The basis for this processing is Article 6 (b) of the Personal Protection Regulation. Where you have consented, the information will also be used to provide you with information, offers and service in connection with your purchase via e-mail, telephone and SMS. The basis for this processing is the Personal Protection Regulation Art 6 (a). You can refuse to receive such information from us at any time.
5. Collection of personal data
We store the personal information you have submitted on our website. We use cookies on our website to give you who visit the site the best customer experience and service. 6. Disclosure of information to third parties
We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so. In order to be able to fulfill our obligations under the agreement, the necessary information is disclosed to our partners
7. Deletion of personal data
Information that we are obliged to keep under the Bookkeeping Act will be stored for up to 5 years, in accordance with the law's requirements.
8. Rights of the data subject
We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. Please note that you can request access to and transfer of your own personal information, as well as request correction or deletion of information. Complaints can be made to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about processing in breach of the rules.
9. Personal data protection officer
We have a data protection officer, Joakim Reme Torsvik, who ensures that the Personal Data Act's rules on the processing of personal data are followed.
10. Information security
We secure your personal information by both physical and virtual access and access control, as well as by encrypting sensitive parts of the information provided.
